The York Public Library Board establishes policies and monitors library operations. Library Board members are appointed to five-year terms by the Mayor, subject to approval by the York City Council. Current members with their terms in office:

• Jerrine Brugh (term ends 2009),
• Susan Cox (term ends 2011),
• Leonard Hoskins (term ends 2013),
• Michael Teetor (President) (term ends 2012),
• Carol Withee (term ends 2010)

The Board’s regular meetings are normally held the third Tuesday of each month at 3:45 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.
