Y Grain Elevator: Y Grain first appears in the 1959 telephone book. The facility is located at the intersection of the former Highway 34 (25th Street) and the C.B. & Q spur line that goes north to Benedict, in the northwest portion of York. Later operated by Scoular Grain, the facility now (2008) is part of the local Co-op.
