Contents are in three divisions — “Hymns for General Use ” (Nos. 1 - 70, pgs. 5 - 79),   “Hymns for Special Occasions” (Nos. 71 - 100, pgs. 80 - 111) and “Chants, Responses and Occasional Pieces” (Nos. 1 - 18, pgs. 112 - 127).   Many individual song titles have the common name of the hymn tune in parentheses immediately below.   This was not Parks’ normal practice.   The book’s pages are 5 ¼” x 7¾” rather than Parks’ normal 6¾” x 10 ½”
