Meeting Room(s)

Kilgore Memorial Library’s meeting room(s) are available to civic groups and not-for-profit activities. The York Public Library Board has adopted policies for use of the room(s). Use by the library, City departments, and Friends of the Library have priority. Sales presentations, party type activities, etc. are inappropriate for the library, and people looking for space to hold such are directed to the meeting spaces in the York City Auditorium, Community Center, or other spaces in York.

Facility description, etc:
  • kitchenette with sink, counter space, coffee maker(s)
  • Space divides into two rooms by operable wall
  • 72 adult size stacking chairs; 30 child-size folding chairs
  • 14 six-foot x 30 inch folding tables
  • cable TV outlet;
  • TV on stand; VCR & DVD
  • projection screens in both rooms
  • corkboard, markerboard, tack strips, flip chart easel
  • P.A. system available
  • internet access;
  • computer and computer projector available
    subject to other scheduled uses
  • Groups using the room(s) may have
    their event included on the library’s
    event calendar

The library records information about groups using the room(s) and collects information from those using the room(s).
