Gifts And Donor Recognition

  1. Gifts of money, real property, and / or stock will be accepted if conditions attached thereto are acceptable to the Library Board. A receipt form is available for donated materials. Potential donors of money, real property, and / or stock will be advised of the Kilgore Memorial Library Foundation’s role in supporting the library by receiving and managing larger gifts including real estate.
  2. The library may accept for deposit materials which are not outright gifts at the discretion of the Library Board.
  3. The library’s criteria for adding and retaining materials to the collection will apply to donated materials.
  4. Donor recognition will be accomplished by book plates, discrete plaques, etc. commensurate with the gift.
