| Nelle Eberhart is remembered as lyricist for the songs of Charles Wakefield CADMAN. The Grove’s article on Cadman notes he met Nelle Eberhart in 1902. A 1935 article clipped from the York Republican says that Mrs. Eberhart taught school in a rural district northwest of York (probably before 1900). A few internet sources have the last name misspelled “Eberhardt.” |
